Internet, December 9, 2009. The Yandex.Timetable service has added information about international and domestic flights all over the world. From now on, users of the service will be able to find a flight from anywhere in the world to any destination – be it from New York to Beijing or from Rome to Naples.
If the destination cannot be reached directly, Yandex.Timetable will suggest a connection route including all transfers. So, someone in Lipetsk can find the way to Rio de Janeiro. And also click through to Yandex.FlyPlane to see what flights are landing in Rio at this particular moment.
“It used to be pretty hard for web users in Russia to plan their foreign trips: while all popular destinations have had a well established online presence, planning a trip to more obscure spots, like Spitsbergen or Bloemfontein, could take a day of surfing online. Yandex.Timetable can do this in a couple of minutes now,” says Dmitry Kryukov, head of the service.
