Internet, September 1, 2009. Yandex has announced a special offer for its advertising clients in the regions. Starting today, the minimum advertising budget for the company’s Carefree package has been lowered. Also, regional customers can now enjoy discounts on display ads.
Previously, the company’s advertising requirements applied equally to all regional advertisers regardless of the size of their target audience. Now, these requirements have been tailored to consider the size of audience in each region. To show ads to web users in Moscow or all over Russia on the Carefree package, advertisers have to set up a minimum budget of 21,000 roubles. To show ads in Saint Petersburg and in Northwest on this package, they will have to have a budget of 15,000. A “Carefree” advertising campaign in any of the other regions will require 9,000 roubles.
Customers advertising in only one specific region have a special offer to buy banner ads on some of the company’s online services popular in the regions, such as Yandex.News or Yandex.Weather.
In addition, advertisers can now buy banner ads with a lower minimum order and, also, can now target their ads to one district or region.
Now, advertising on Yandex has become better tailored to the needs of the company’s clients in the regions.
