Internet, August 11, 2009. Yandex offers webmasters a new opportunity to generate revenue. Now they can use the Yandex.Site service to add a search feature to their site and make money showing relevant ads in search results.
Any website can add a free yandex search engine. To start getting paid for ad clicks, a website has to join the Yandex Advertising Network (YAN). In this case, Yandex will share half the advertising revenue from a website with its owner. Any website can join the YAN as long as it complies with the terms of participation.
To add the Yandex search box to a website is easy – just copy and paste the ready-made code to any web page. No additional software or web page design skills are required. Search results will automatically be displayed right on the website improving visitor retention, as they won’t have to leave the website.
“Creating a DIY site search might turn out quite tricky,” says Mikhail Senin, head of the Yandex.Site service. “Yandex empowers webmasters with a number of solutions: Yandex.Server, Yandex.XML and Yandex.Site. The latter is simple and user-friendly, and is foolproof even for beginner webmasters”.
