Yandex.Fotki Is Now Mobile

Internet, December 20, 2007. Yandex today announces the release of a new mobile application Yandex.Fotki. Anyone who owns a smartphone or communicator with inbuilt camera can now upload their picture on the Yandex.Fotki photo-hosting service at one single click. The new application supports Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Today, Yandex has also launched the Yandex.Mobile webpage, a webpage customized for the users of mobile devices.

Yandex.Mobile webpage features 12 of the Yandex services: Search, Mail, Weather, Blogs, Money, Catalog, Maps, TV Guide, Afisha, Market, Dictionaries and WiFi. These services had already been customized for PDA and now mobile phone users can also view them on their phones.

Last fall Yandex rolled out its first mobile application Yandex.Maps. About half a million Yandex users have downloaded this application on their mobile gadgets.
