The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in information retrieval, machine learning or a related field, be hands on in UNIX scripting and code development, and will contribute to research, experimentation and code development in the area of Web search quality development in the labs. Requirements:

MS or PhD in Computer Science or related major

Solid mathematical background

Strong C++ development skills

Strong UNIX skills, ideally supported by software development experience in UNIX

Project experience in machine learning, data mining, graph theory, information retrieval or related area
